Plan on a phone
Place people on shifts from a phone. The week view shows hours so far for each person.
Rule warnings before you save
Rest periods, weekly hours, night work and overlaps with other shifts (including event shifts) are checked when you place someone. A refusal says why.
One pool, four kinds of worker
Employees, direct temporary workers, agency workers and freelancers sit in one list. The kind decides the rules and the money path; it is recorded, never guessed.
Events with offers and QR check-in
Create an event, send offers for each position, see who accepted and check people in by QR code. The cancellation policy in force is shown on every offer.
Hours into pay
Approved hours for employees carry into the payroll run. Agency invoices and freelancer fees follow their own path and are not put on a payslip.
Workers see their own shifts
Published shifts appear in each worker's account. Drafts stay with the manager.
Good to know
- The roster is an add-on that a company switches on. Its price is in the price list when one is published.
- The warnings follow the Workers' Rights Act and the sector remuneration regulations. Where the law is silent, Employ offers a default that you can see and change, labelled as your company's policy.
- Employ does not decide whether a freelancer is in law an employee. It records the kind you choose and applies the matching rules.
